The Village of 100 project seamlessly intertwined with York Region’s initiative to spotlight data gleaned from the Canadian census. Tasked with envisioning York Region as a self-contained world populated by just 100 individuals, I embarked on the design of a 3D environment exclusively representing this geographical area. Within this digital realm, our focus shifted to leveraging crucial census data to address and spotlight pertinent issues surrounding race and demographic dynamics. The project served as a compelling visual exploration, illuminating the unique socio-cultural landscape of York Region within the context of a miniature, yet impactful, village of 100 residents.
