I HEART FILM

I was Honored to be invited by a curator who recognized my exploration in sculpting within Virtual Reality, I submitted my artwork to the John B. Aird Gallery for a themed exhibition centered around films that resonate personally. Drawing inspiration from “The NeverEnding Story” and “Priscilla Queen of the Desert,” I utilized Gravity Sketch to craft intricate sculptures that encapsulated the essence of these cinematic classics. Transitioning toBlender, I textured and rendered the virtual creations, resulting in visually stunning pieces. The final step involved mounting the artworks onto wooden frames, where I meticulously applied overpainting and staining techniques to evoke an organic and tactile feel. This artist project not only celebrates the intersection of technology and traditional craftsmanship but also pays homage to the emotional connection we forge with films that hold a special place in our hearts.
