During my tenure at both URS and RV Anderson, I had the privilege of spearheading a collaborative effort to secure the CEO award for our outstanding engineering projects. The primary focus of our initiative was to develop award submissions that not only showcased the magnitude of three monumental projects but also garnered industry recognition. The Consulting Engineers of Ontario annually hosts an awards submission, emphasizing the creation of large project boards to highlight engineering excellence. To achieve this, our teams recognized the importance of demonstrating the relevance of our projects. Given the massive scale of these endeavors, I took the lead in designing dynamic birds-eye views for each project, integrating Google Maps, Revit models, helicopter footage, and 3D graphics. The resulting board designs and accompanying brochures were exceptional examples of bringing projects to life, yet despite their excellence, none of the submissions secured victory.
